However, it's not yet confirmed that the title will be a Musou. In Hyrule Warriors, this means playing as characters like Link and Zelda, but given the immense list of Fate servants and heroes, there's a lot to potentially pull from, even if the game limits itself to Japanese history. Koei Tecmo and developer Omega Force are known in part for Musou-style games, such as Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity, which let players fight immense hordes of enemies as some of the best-known and strongest heroes in the franchise. Koei Tecmo is describing the game as an Action RPG, without further information as to what the gameplay will be like. Newcomers to the series may not recognize the hero, though, as Fate has gender-bent Musashi to be a woman, who has previously appeared in Fate Grand/Order as a summonable Servant. The playable character once again finds himself under attack, but this time the assailant is revealed to be none other than Musashi Miyamoto, the legendary swordsman of Japan. There isn't much more to be seen in the trailer, though big fans of the Fate series will probably be most excited about the ending. After deflecting an attack, his hand glows with a Command Seal and a Servant appears, defending him and asking if he's the one who summoned them. The game is set somewhere in feudal Japan and focuses on a young sword-wielding protagonist who finds himself under siege.
